Biotrauma Employee & Family Fights ALS!

Wednesday February 11, 2009 - Biotrauma employee Karen Duffy and family have raised more than $17,000.00 for research and programs at Emory University's ALS Center. Recently, on their website, Emory released an article about her son's decision to get involved and help find a cure for ALS.

Karen Duffy works in our marketing department here at Biotrauma, spreading the word to families and advocates about our service availability for traumatized families. She has been supportive of her son Brian's involvement with fund raising for curing ALS and has become very involved herself.

The entire Duffy family have become immersed in the fight, and can often be seen "Running for Life." They are an inspiration to us all.
